Jeanette has been driving horses for over 33 years. From commercial driving to the show ring, she has vast experience to help you learn from novice to amateur.
One on one training and driving lessons are available. Single horse and team lessons are $80 per hour and dependent on weather conditions. Use one of the ranch’s miniature horses to learn how to tack up, put to the cart, learn the pieces of harness and how it works and experience using different types of harnesses and lastly, how to drive safely and for your discipline.
Bring your horse! Clients are welcome to bring their own horse provided they have their own harness that fits that horse. Learn ground driving, pulling a tire and pulling a stone boat. If no harness has been purchased Jeanette can measure your horse for fitting.
We offer driving training for miniature horses only. Unfortunately, we no longer offer driving training or lessons for equines larger than mini. If you’re coming from out of state a current negative Coggins and health certificate must accompany the horse.
